Putt for Kaz Charity Golf Day
Putt for Kaz Charity Golf Day
Story
Putt for Kaz Charity Golf Day, held in memory of Karen Creighton is a dedicated fundraiser for GI Cancer Institute. We can’t think of a better way to honour her memory than with family and friends on what would be the eve of her 63rd birthday.
As many of you are aware, last year we lost a very special lady not only in our family, but the widespread community to cancer stemming from a hereditary gene mutation known as Lynch Syndrome.
Other members of our family also carry the Lynch Syndrome gene which increases the chance of developing Gastrointestinal cancers within our lifetime.
Currently, there is no cure for Lynch syndrome. The best prognosis occurs with annual screening and supporting the GI Cancer Institute to improve treatments and survival rates for people with Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer.
We have set a goal of $15,000 to raise much needed funds for an amazing cause that's very close to our heart.
If you would like to support our fundraising efforts, but are not able to be there on the day, please help us reach our target through a direct donation to GI Cancer Institute.
Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
